Day 37
This is Kathy. Kathy is one cool chick. I am lucky enough to have her as one of my nurses. She's holding a little chick. I'm not sure what it is :) I am embarrassed to say, I will have to ask her! Today was a cool day at work. Just the usual hiccups and fun stuff we chew through each day. I managed to get Kath in front of the camera, and to pose for this, on the onus I cartooned it a little. I actually really like the pic, but Kath is very so-so about it.
Tonight work followed me home. Sarva's dog had eaten some chicken, plus/minus bone, and was now walking around looking real sick. So Sarva rushed over with Goldie for me to check. Yup, she looked like a dog that has swallowed (well, not fully swallowed!) a bone. Anyways, I checked her over and did some magic vet stuff, and sent her home with specific instructions on what to do (you know, the if-then-else scenarios). Let's cross fingers.
YN460II in STU 10 and 2, 420EX on camera with eTTL at -2 stops FEC. 24-105m f/4 lens. Not sure of settings :) I had a vet student (thanks Zoe) hold a white reflector behind Kath, which I then put a new backdrop on in Photoshop.
